We arrived in Kefalonia not knowing quite what to expect…The villa made our stay memorable and was an ideal home from home. We would to have stayed longer and hope everyone enjoys themselves as much as we have. A definite visit is Myrtos beach and the Melissani Cave.

We have had a great holiday. Beautiful villas, the children have really enjoyed the pool. We have visited lots of lovely beaches, been to Assos & Myrtos. We really enjoyed the Melissani Cave and lunch in Sami.
Our favorite beaches were Avithos as it is fairly quiet & Lassi for the watersports.

With great thanks to Alexandra and Elina we felt welcome during our stay, their excellent restaurant recommendations were the best food in Argostoli, “porta” (just off the main square past the “captain’s table) and “Casa Grec” (behind base club/ café) was also lovely.
We thought the best sandy beach was Avithos (2kn left out of the drive). We wouls also recommend a trip to Fiscardo, the views on the journey are fantastic but the height of the winding road isn’t for the faint hearted.  One other tip, the nearest supermarket is AB (go up to Lakithra, turn right at Ovelix past the bakers on the left, at junction turn left- small road, past T junction turn left, bringing you to “Champion”, “Lidl” and “AB”.

We’ve had a wonderful honeymoon at Villa Alexandra- beautiful villa, fantastic weather and stunning location. Thanks to Elina and Alexandra for thinking of absolutely everything we could have wanted. Our one tip is Butler’s House Restaurant in Lassi- we had one of the best meals ever there, and kept going back.

 We have had a fantastic week in the most beautiful villa with amazing views! What a shame we only had a week here- none of us want to go home! If it’s your first visit to Kefalonia then you must visit Avithos Beach, it has lovely sand, calm sea and a beach bar selling Ice cold Beer. Going to Lassi we can recommend Buttler’s House Restaurant and Sirtaki, or going towards Ammes Beach the restaurant Acropolis. A visit to Assos is a must, and have lunch overlooking the sea.
A big thank you to Elina and Alexandra for providing the perfect retreat after a long hot day in the sun. We will definitely return next year.

We have had a fantastic two weeks in Kefalonia. The villa is perfect and is of a very high standard and quality, with of course stunning views from all angles!!! We have visited most of the island, with all the villages having their own charm, but we could recommend visits to Assos, Fiscardo, Agia Efimia and Argostoli.  Also Lassi as it is nearest for shops/ restaurants and tavernas. For visits to beaches we would recommend Myrtos Beach (this is a must!!!) worth the long high winding roads. Sami, Skala and Poros are nice if you like resorts. Other beaches, Trapezaki is very pretty, and Lourdas  (Lourdata), Lassi for restaurants …In all we have had a nice relaxing holiday and obviously do not want to go home.
The sunset from the patio is something else.

As a first time visitor to anywhere in Greece I came with my family to the superb villa Alexandra in Kefalonia. What a wonderful time we have had, we have visited most of the beautiful bays and beaches and all of the locals especially at the restaurants were very friendly and helpful.
